ERTDX is a constantly evolving platform. On this page, you can explore all stages of development, from the initial setup to its transformation into a full-fledged market-ready product.
Phase 0 – Working pilot installation
Two digital monitors are already active at Bar Gelateria Giardino (Monticelli Terme, Italy). Each monitor displays up to 18 or 12 images depending on the setup, all modifiable in real-time via smartphone. Each screen has its own link and static password. If the network goes offline, the monitors retain the last synchronized configuration. A public HTML page also displays all active selections for customer viewing on mobile.

All monitors are now configurable from a single admin interface. Users can choose layouts (e.g., 4x2, 6x2, 6x3), decide which monitors are included in the mobile view, and personalize elements like the homepage text and optional website button. If the network is lost, monitors show a blinking red 'OFFLINE' alert in the corner. Users can upload their own images in JPG, PNG, or WebP formats.
Phase 2 – Advanced personalization
The system supports up to 8 monitors, each showing up to 24 items. Every block can include an image, text, logo, and price. Content visibility is flexible: items can be shown only on monitors, only on mobile, or on both. This version also introduces user roles: administrators (full control) and operators (limited to image updates).
Phase 3 – Industrialization and mobile app
ERTDX becomes a scalable, professional-grade product. A native mobile app (Android/iOS) is considered to improve management, security, and usability. The backend infrastructure is strengthened to support a growing network of users and resellers.
Phase 4 – Bundled hardware and software
Alongside the software platform, a new commercial offering includes preconfigured monitors. Devices are shipped fully set up with content, layout, and support included — ideal for businesses seeking a plug-and-play solution without technical complexity.
